Carolina Scale Crawlers presents Mini & Micro Top Truck Challenge - 2024 SERIES FINAL (3/3) - - Dravo Dam TTC - * MARCH 2nd / Blacksburg, SC / 9AM Drivers Meeting ⏱ * 15$ Entry per driver ~ Will include BBQ lunch & drinks 💵🐷🥤 : EVENT INFORMATION : There will be some walking from course to course. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing, it will be COLD in the morning. There will not be any restrooms or trashcans so please be aware! Parking is very limited, so try and carpool if possible. * This will be an entirely new style of challenge for the Mini & Micro scene.. We will be using a basis of RCMCCA.org rules converting penalties into overall time.✏️⌛️ * We will be using SORCCA Lite as a scale point system. Your vehicle will be required to have a MINIMUM of -5 scale points to be Top Truck Challenge legal! We will count points as double up to -5 points. Any points over -5 will be then counted as single points. These scale points will be converted into seconds, deducted your overall score. Check the 2nd comment to find more details on the point system. We will be adjusting certain requirements & scale points to fit for mini & micro categories. ☑️ • FOR EXAMPLE : Cliffhanger / Coyote / Gladiator / K10 / F150 / Power Wagon / ETC will be considered as a truck bed -2 scale points. • Lego style driver is OK. (keep it scale) • Stickers DO NOT count, needs to be realistic FUNCTIONAL (Maximum of -8) or NON FUNCTIONAL items (Maximum of -6). • Working winch -4 / Bungee recovery strap & pullpal/hook -2 / ETC • MAX scale points -10 * WE ARE ONLY TAKING 25 DRIVERS @ THIS EVENT, POST UP & CLAIM YOUR SPOT ASAP! 👀 For this series we are using 1 truck 1 driver, use your best overall setup.. Anything between class 1 & 3 will be mixed into one big group. Drivers will be randomly drawn on the first course then following the others courses by position placement. 🃏 (Kids Class) ~ Anyone 12ish years old or under. Most of them are running brushed & tires 64mm or smaller. 🧑‍🦱 VEHICLE RULES : • 3s battery limit / 1.3 wheels / 74mm tires, NO cut & shut / Scale C1 or C2 style body, no tubers or chassis style rigs. NO modifications of any sort between courses ~ you finish with what you start! 📕 COURSES : • Mini Rubicon - This will be like a standard rock course. It will have mixed elevation & tight lines. One or two small mistakes could make for costly penalties! • Hill Climb - 10 gates uphill, all gates are live! • Frame Twister - This course will have all types of terrain & live boundary line. Wheel speed is your friend but you need to keep it under control. • Mud Bog - Expect very light mud & water up to bottom axle depth.. 1st through 3rd place will accumulate points into an overall series. We will have some awesome prizes for this event! The overall series winner will be walking away with something BIG.. 🏆 Please bare with us while we get more detailed information on this event..
